2. No Medical, Therapeutic, or Diagnostic Services

2.2 No Doctor-Patient or Therapist-Client Relationship

Your use of the Services does not create a doctor-patient relationship, therapist-client relationship, or any other professional relationship between you and Stella Self, its employees, or its affiliates. You do not receive the benefit of any professional confidentiality or privilege protections that would apply in a therapeutic or medical setting.

2.3 Test Results Are Not Clinical Diagnoses

The psychology tests, assessments, and reports provided through our Services are based on your self-reported responses and are intended solely for personal reflection and self-awareness. They do not constitute a clinical diagnosis, psychological evaluation, or professional mental health assessment. The results are generated by automated algorithms and should not be relied upon as a comprehensive or accurate opinion concerning your psychological well-being.

2.4 Not a Substitute for Professional Help

The information and content provided through our Services is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Upon termination, your right to access the Services will immediately cease, and you may lose access to your test results and reports.

5. Payments, Subscriptions, and Pricing

5.1 Payment Processing

All payments for our Services are processed securely through our third-party payment provider, Creem. By making a purchase, you agree to Creem's terms of service and privacy policy. Stella Self does not store your full credit card or banking information.

5.2 Pricing

Prices are displayed in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise indicated. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Any pricing changes will be posted on the Website with reasonable advance notice.

5.3 Subscription Terms

If you purchase a subscription, it will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Canceling a subscription stops future billing but does not automatically entitle you to a refund for payments already made. Please see our Refund Policy for more details.

You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or other governmental charges associated with your purchase, excluding taxes based on Stella Self's net income.

  3. Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code of our tests, algorithms, or proprietary technology.
  4. Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or spiders to access, monitor, copy, or extract data from our Website or Services.
  5. Upload, transmit, or distribute any viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  6. Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Services or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks.
  7. Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  8. Harass, abuse, or harm another person, or use our Services to promote violence, discrimination, or illegal activities.
  9. Share, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our test content, reports, or results without our prior written consent.
  10. Use our Services or content to train, develop, or improve any artificial intelligence or machine learning model without our express written permission.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates these provisions, including reporting violations to law enforcement authorities.

These Terms were originally drafted in English. In the event of any conflict or ambiguity between translated versions and the English version, the English version shall prevail. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT: (A) THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; (B) THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR COMPLETE; (C) ANY ERRORS IN THE SERVICES WILL BE CORRECTED; OR (D) THE WEBSITE OR SERVERS ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL STELLA SELF, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO, USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF STELLA SELF HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL STELLA SELF'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO STELLA SELF FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Stella Self and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of another party; or (d) any content you submit to us.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree that any proceedings to resolve disputes will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action against Stella Self.
